Mikael Bøgh Rasmussen

Mikael Bøgh Rasmussen (born 1970), ph.d. His employments include terms at The Department of Prints and Drawings and at The Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle. Among his publications are German Drawings before 1540 (Copenhagen, 2000); Byzantium: Late Antique and Byzantine Art in Scandinavian Collections (with Jens Fleischer and Øystein Hjorth, 1996), and ”Traditio legis?”, (in: Cahiers archéologiques fin de l’antiquité et du moyen age, 1999). Mikael Bøgh Rasmussen is a lecturer in Art History at the University of Copenhagen and is currently also working at the Danish National Art Library. His forthcoming book on the reception of portraiture will be published by Forlaget Vandkunsten in the fall of 2010.
