Mikael Bøgh Rasmussen
Mikael Bøgh Rasmussen (born 1970), ph.d. Librarian to Her Majesty the Queen. His employments include terms at The Department of Prints and Drawings and at The Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle, and at the Danish Art Library. Among his publications are German Drawings before 1540 (Copenhagen, 2000); Byzantium: Late Antique and Byzantine Art in Scandinavian Collections (with Jens Fleischer and Øystein Hjorth, 1996), and ”Traditio legis?”, (in: Cahiers archéologiques fin de l’antiquité et du moyen age, 1999). Mikael Bøgh Rasmussen was a lecturer in Art History at the University of Copenhagen. His forthcoming book on the reception of portraiture will be published by Forlaget Vandkunsten.
